Celebrate Little Victories - Avon Addicts Bonanza

I received a surprise in the mail this week - an Avon Addicts Bonanza!  Avon's publicity team gave us a special treat - a copy of each addict's favorite Avon book.  You know mine - blue cover, second row from top, first from left - Cathy Maxwell's THE MARRIAGE CONTRACT.

We also received a special pendant of our favorite Avon cover.   Yes, I love Cathy Maxwell, red tartan, and Scottish curses! Thank you, Avon, for making blogging fun!

I am giving away one book from my book stash - winner's choice - to one randomly selected commenter.  To enter the giveaway,

1.  What is your favorite Avon romance book and/or author?   I know, I know, so many to choose from ... so here's the Avon Authors website (link).

2.  This giveaway is open to all readers.

3.  Comments are open through Saturday, November 9, 10 pm in Baltimore.  I'll post the winner on Sunday, November 10.

Mahalo,

Kim in Baltimore

The book fairies were good to me ....

  1. So hard to pick one, but I'll go with Stephanie Laurens. Her Bastion Club series made me fall in love with historical romances again.

  2. It is hard to pick since there are so many amazing authors to choose from. Most are auto buys! Teresa Medieros is probably my fav though. I've loved everything she's written!

  4. I agree - it is difficult to pick just one. My choice would be Karen Ranney.

  5. My favorite is the top left. :)

The Wolf and The Dove is the book that started me reading. I took it home and stayed up all night long reading, going into work the next day with bloodshot eyes and telling my friend who lent it to me that she was worse than a drug dealer and I was hooked! It's been 20 years of reading bliss and I haven't regretted a moment. :)

  6. That's a very unfair question lol. I am going to say Sarah MacLean but only because I just read one of her books - I enjoy most of them :)

  8. This is so hard to choose, I love so many of the Avon books! From Julia Quinn's The Bridgertons to Pamela Palmer's Feral Warriors to Lisa Kleypas' The Hathaways series, there's just so many books that I've enjoyed as among my favorite books of all-time. You can't go wrong with an Avon author! :-)

  10. Oh wow, this is an awesome giveaway! And so hard to choose....this is like a parent having to pick their favorite child...oh man. I would say all Avon authors but the one(s) that top my list would have to be Eloisa James and Johanna Lindsey. I can't really pick one over the other. But now I feel like I'm dissing the other authors! :( lol

  18. I can't play favorites as there are so many of them that I love. Anyway, I've either read, or got most of the books shown, so there's no need to enter me into the contest.

  23. Hi Kim!

Aren't Avon romances wonderful? I've been getting their newsletter for a long time and always end up added books to my TBR list whenever I receive it! It's a great way to keep up-to-date on what's being released.

I love so many of their historical romance authors that it's a hard to choose just one but on book I'm really looking forward to reading is Elizabeth Boyle's this month is Have You Any Rogues which is: A Rhymes With Love Novella.

Because I've been looking forward to reading it so much I'm going to choose Elizabeth as my "favorite" Avon author!

  27. I love a lot of the Avon authors, and I'd have to choose one each from two different romance genres - Eloisa James and Jeaniene Frost.

  28. There are just so many to pick from that it is hard to choose a favorite so I will just have to go with the one that started my romance addiction, Lynsay Sands. I picked up one of her Argeneau books at a library sale and loved it, which lead to others in the series, then her historicals, and then on to a lot more books (and a lot of money spent, LOL).

  29. Jeaniene Frost is my favorite Avon author. Lynsay Sands and Kerrelyn Sparks are also favorites.
